In 2024, I joined Ghent University as Business Developer for Food2Know. Before that was leading the business development (BD) of several agrifood tech start-up companies, such as FA Bio (Chief Business Officer 2023-2024), Vestaron (VP BD 2017-2022, Benson Hill Biosystems (VP BD 2014-2016). Before that I was responsible for technology acquisition and innovation management in Europe and the Americas within BASF Plant Science (2003-2014). I received my Master of Science and my PhD in biochemistry at the University of Bayreuth, and was a PostDoc at the Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Plant Physiology in Potsdam, Germany.
