My research group focuses mainly on the role of intestinal events on the metabolic properties of animals, on the nutritional modulation of energy homeostasis and on the micromineral related physiology. Our research includes comparative nutrition studies in animals from the entire animal kingdom, both in wild and domesticated species.
I am Board member-at-large of the Comparative Nutrition Society.
