My research group is embedded in the Division of Agri-food Marketing and Chain Management and focuses on sustainable innovations and entrepreneurship within the agri-food chain. Our work centers on leveraging insights from diverse chain stakeholders—such as consumers, policymakers, and farmers—to drive innovations toward more sustainable food systems while adopting a multidisciplinary approach and fostering collaborations with food industry partners. Furthermore, I am coordinating the Food Market Research Hub at Ghent University, which provides state-of-the-art facilities for conducting sensory research and examining stakeholder-driven barriers and enablers to the acceptance of food innovations.
