The Laboratory of Integrative Metabolomics is experienced in the development and validation of novel metabolomics (i.e. small molecules) methods using hyphenated and ambient mass spectrometry. The latter are applied to mechanistically elucidate the exposome-health axis and improve the diagnosis, prevention and prediction of related outcomes (i.e. obesity, food allergy, cancer, etc.) in humans and animals. Bioinformatic approaches that enable integration of metabolomics with other (omics) data (clinical, microbiome, diet, etc.) are developed as well. Transcending metabolomics from the lab to the production line (e.g. food companies) and from the bench to the bedside is a core research line.
