I am leading the Isotope Bioscience Laboratory (ISOFYS) that specializes in stable isotope analyses of hydrogen (H), carbon (C), nitrogen (N), oxygen (O), and sulfur (S) across various sample matrices, serving a wide range of applications. Stable isotope analyses have been notably applied to ensure food authentication, trace origin, and detect fraud. Additionally, the laboratory has developed expertise in understanding the biophysical factors influencing Arabica coffee quality. Furthermore, a significant area of research within the lab involves exploring the broader role of agroforestry systems in supporting sustainable cocoa and coffee value chains.
